About our company
Aerotour was founded in 1973 as a company with costarican capital and the friendly service that characterize our country.
From its origins, Aerotour has been at the forefront of the domestic air transport.
Our base of operations is the Tobias Bolaños Palma International Airport, which is conveniently located just 15 min. in vehicle from San Jose, Costa Rica's capital city.
At this time we operate single-and twin-engine aircraft, plus a fleet of helicopters. Our helicopter fleet is the most modern and largest in Costa Rica, we operate 30% of the country's helicopter fleet.
The loyalty of our customers to our services is a prove that we have demonstrated profesionalism, security, performance, reliability, timeliness, confidentiality, besides that our customers know that we strictly comply with all standards and both national and international requirements in terms of crew training quality and maintenance, all this as we are continuously audited nationally and internationally.
We are very scrupulous in maintaining the highest levels of safety, optimal level of training our staff and strict monitoring of the maintenance schedule on our flight team.
Our aircrafts and pilots are trained to fly at night and under conditions of low visibility and high cloud cover, we also have satellite navigation with the latest GPS Technology which provides greater security and the ability to shorten long distances by allowing direct flights from origin to destination
